Our Lennox-Specific HVAC Maintenance Service

Looking for hvac maintenance on a Lennox system? Our technicians are factory-familiar with Lennox equipment — we work on XC25, XC21, XP21, EL18XCV and the rest of the Signature Collection, Elite Series, Merit Series lineup on a daily basis. Lennox systems require dealer-specific parts in many cases. Variable-speed repairs are complex and require specialized training.

For hvac maintenance work specifically on Lennox, the playbook is different than for a generic system. Lennox runs proprietary control boards, communicating thermostats, and sometimes brand-specific TXV valves and refrigerant charge specs. We carry the brand-specific parts catalog access and the diagnostic software (where applicable) to do the work correctly.

What Lennox HVAC Maintenance Actually Costs

Lennox hvac maintenance typically runs $129–$199 in South Bay. Premium-tier brands like Trane and Lennox can run slightly higher on parts, but our labor rate is the same regardless of brand. We always quote up-front and never charge overtime.

10-year parts warranty. Up to lifetime compressor warranty on select units. If your Lennox system is still under warranty, we handle the OEM parts sourcing through Lennox's distributor channel and submit the warranty claim on your behalf — you pay only labor.

What We Typically Find During Lennox HVAC Maintenance

When we run hvac maintenance on Lennox systems, the issues we find most often are:

  • iComfort thermostat connectivity issues
  • Variable-speed compressor failures
  • Evaporator coil corrosion in coastal areas
  • Control board sensitivity to power surges

Why South Bay Homeowners Trust Us with Lennox

Innovation never felt so good — and we honor that with our service. Every technician we send for Lennox hvac maintenance has had factory-specific training on Lennox equipment. We use factory certified parts (preferring OEM Lennox parts where available) and document the work with a written report including the readings, the parts replaced, and the system performance verification.

Industry-leading 28 SEER2 on XC25. Solar-ready options available. Maintaining that efficiency over the system's lifespan requires the kind of regular tune-up work most homeowners skip — and most general HVAC shops don't do correctly on premium Lennox equipment.

Twice-a-year plan is worth it

Industrial neighborhood, our condenser eats a lot of airborne crap from the port. They include a deep coil-cleaning twice a year as part of the membership and have a special agreement on a marine-grade dielectric coating. System is 8 years old and still operating at 92% of nameplate capacity per their measurements. Better than I had any right to expect for the location.

Sealed up our leaky ducts

Pre-war home with patched flex duct in the attic — Title 24 leakage test failed at 32% (passing is 5%). They replaced the worst runs with R-8 insulated flex, sealed plenums with mastic, and got us down to 7%. Energy bill dropped $48/month and the rooms over the garage finally stay warm in winter. Highly recommend if you've got an older house.

Hyper-heat retrofit done right

Switched from gas furnace to a Mitsubishi M-Series Hyper-Heat (cold-climate-rated even though we don't need it). They oversized the line-set, ran the condensate to an existing trap, and rebalanced the duct system because heat pumps need higher airflow. System runs in heating mode at 12°F outdoor without backup heat. Bills are noticeably lower.

Smart thermostat for a 2-zone system

Zone-controlled house — old Honeywell zoning panel, two thermostats. They installed two Ecobee Premium units, configured the zoning panel correctly (lots of techs get this wrong), and integrated everything with our HomeKit. Took longer than planned because the C-wire wasn't pulled at one stat — they had to fish through a wall. Done right but lost a star for the time overrun.

Replaced our old AC and air handler

Old Goodman from 2003 finally died. Replaced with an American Standard Platinum 18 (matched evaporator coil + air handler). Crew was meticulous — vacuumed to 350 microns, weighed in the charge, did a static-pressure test post-install (came in at 0.38 in. wc, well within spec). Also fixed a duct collapse they noticed in the attic for free. Five-star work all the way.

Ignition-control board replacement

Carrier 59TN furnace (Hot Surface Ignition) wouldn't fire. Tech diagnosed a failed control board (CESO110057-02) — common on this model around year 12. Had a refurbished board on his truck (with a 3-year warranty), saved us $180 vs a new one. Total visit: 70 minutes. Technically minded, doesn't talk down to you, doesn't try to upsell.
